In my role at J.Crew, I consistently looked for ways to meaningfully weave the brand into cultural relevance. With the buzz surrounding the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics, I pitched a campaign that would align the brand with one of the U.S. Olympic aquatic teams - a natural connection, given J.Crew’s beloved swimwear.
This resulted in a standout partnership with USA Swimming that seamlessly blended the brand’s product authority with the global cultural zeitgeist. The collaboration made waves as one of the brand’s most successful to date and generated significant press coverage. The campaign alludes to the nostalgic, lifestyle-driven heritage of J.Crew’s iconic catalogs, reimagined through the lens of modern cultural currency.
