I conceptualized this collection as J.Crew’s take on dolce vita. This carefully curated approach to a packable and highly emotional capsule of effortless separates cheekily evokes the idea of a “Roman Holiday.” Inspired by the spirit of travel and J.Crew’s brand provenance of storied catalogs that evoke an aspirational-yet-attainable lifestyle, this collection also triangulated US travel trends and major cultural touchstones, such as the second season of White Lotus and TikTok’s “tomato girl summer”.

This endless summer collection floats in the haze of Slim Aarons’ bon vivant photographs of sun-soaked sojourns to the Mediterranean. Featuring oversized 60s-inspired citrus prints and cabana stripes, a zesty palette, and on-trend openwork weaves, this collection was brought to life through a campaign that gathered aspirational trailblazers from our Collective to a Sicilian villa. This highly emotional, evocative campaign resulted in one of our best-selling collections to date. It was highly emotional and resonant, with an authenticity and unstudied air that evoked brand heritage through a modern lens.
