FEBRUARY 2024
I conceptualized the February collection as a pre-spring capsule that celebrates the multi-faceted dynamism of women. This moody, cheekily sensual collection is focused on wearability for one of the coldest months of the year. Tailoring is one of J.Crew’s brand pillars, and this month launches silhouette updates that will carry through the entire season. Menswear-inflected tailoring is balanced with feminine sensuality. With a workwear distortion within the collection, I conceptualized marketing and content storytelling as a celebration of real women in their workplaces. This resulted in devoted editorial with the editorial director of Christie’s, Rita Nakouzi, the designer Sophie Lou Jacobsen, and the pastry chef Lucie Franc de Ferriere. Supplementary content includes an editorial shot on the streets of Paris and a “double take” studio shoots balance the product assortment. The studio shoot featured sisters, best friends, and lovers - which reflected my efforts to more deeply integrate LGBTQ+ content within the brand 365, rather than just during Pride month.
